Tutorial on Paid Surveys

The first rule about paid surveys is: never pay for a membership! If you have to pay, it's probably a scam. This whole site is about making money with no cost to you, so I will never put a site up here that costs you any money. Never put in your credit card either, and especially not your Social Security Number.

That being said, surveys are not a steady source of income. When you receive survey invitations depends on a lot of factors. Surveys are put out by marketing companies to try to gauge the thoughts of their target demographics. The survey companies are paid to 'recruit' people to take these surveys and provide you with incentives to take them. Surveys are put out at any given time, and you can go months without receiving a survey invitation from a given company (with the exception of inbox dollars and sendearnings, which allow you to take a survey a day).

That's the reason you should join as many of these sites as you can because sometimes the surveys are few and far between, and you don't always qualify for them all. So the way to ensure that you make the most money possible is to join a large number of sites to keep a steady flow of possible surveys. When you join four or five of these sites, you can regularly get surveys. At times, you'll get 4 or 5 in a day. When it comes to surveys, you have to be patient. When you first start with a survey company it takes a little while to get surveys, but after being with the company for a period of time they begin to send you more.

I personally would suggest making an alternate email address for the sole purpose of taking online surveys. When you join multiple sites, it can really start to fill up your email inbox. Choose an email provider with plenty of inbox space, like Google's gmail. What's great about these sites is that you can choose when and if you want to take a survey.
